On Wednesday, July 24th, join Tech Beach and the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce’s Technology Council in exploring Miami Dade College’s state-of-the-art education facilities for animation and game development. The Chairperson of MAGIC (Miami’s Animation & Gaming International Complex), Mauricio Ferrazza, has generously arranged for attendees to tour the 9,000 square foot complex that was designed to mirror a working animation studio and check out demo games and projects developed by current and former Miami Dade College students.
The exploring and networking will be followed by a discussion and moderated audience Q&A about the impact of MAGIC and the opportunities, local and beyond, for anyone interested in animation and gaming development.
Joining us for the panel discussion will be Kurt Hollowell, Software Engineer at Magic Leap, who will share with us his journey in game development and how Magic Leap is working to create the next generation of gaming with mixed reality technology.
