About Guillermo:
Guillermo Cortina, VP Bank TheVentureCity, currently manages a $100 million early-stage fund (from Seed to Series A, opportunistically later stages) that invests in companies with global impact that have disruptive technologies and business models.
He has more than 25 years of international experience in mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and private equity, equity and debt capital markets, strategic investments, corporate strategy development, risk management and finance. He has worked for Bank of America Merrill Lynch as an investment banker where he advised a large number of companies, especially in Latin America, helping them raise important amounts of capital in the US equity and debt securities markets.
He has a Master’s Degree from Kellogg Graduate School of Management Northwestern University.
