As with our debut Rebuilding America event held at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., this event is presented in four informative and engaging segments: Profile of a Young Entrepreneur, Path of an Established Entrepreneur, Incubators & Accelerators and “Spotlight on Innovation.”
Max Major performer will kick off the event. This one-of-a-kind performer and serial entrepreneur isn’t all card tricks. Max will also provide students with some helpful tips he learned along his journey to become the successful rising entrepreneur he is today. CEO and Co-Founder of College Hunks Hauling Junk and University of Miami alum, Omar Soliman who will address students and share his experience as a graduate and established entrepreneur. Marcela Iannini, Board Member and Executive Director of Education at Startup Miami, will provide her perspective on the role of accelerator communities in the world of startups. The event will conclude with “Spotlight on Innovation,” a pitch competition presented by Zack Huhn of Student Intern Network (SIN), a startup community of Millennials focused on professional development, philanthropic outreach, and social engagement.
