Following a key recommendation of the newly released Seven50: Southeast Florida Prosperity Plan, the South Florida Regional Planning Council will host a public meeting next week to discuss emerging economic trends and launch the “Southeast Florida Regional Opportunity Network,” a multi-sector collaboration of public, private, nonprofit and philanthropic entities dedicated to promoting regional economic growth opportunities. The event, which brings together local business and community leaders, policy analysts and members of the general public, will take place from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, June 11, at the Florida Department of Transportation, District 4 Auditorium, 3400 West Commercial Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., 33309.
