The Series consists of 6 workshops aimed at strengthening Miami’s investment community understanding of angel investing. These workshops cover a range of topics such as Due Diligence, Deal Structuring, Term Sheets, Sector Analysis, and Funding Cycles.

Our next workshop on valuation methods will be led by Mark Volchek, Founding Partner at Las Olas Venture Capital. We will dig into the metrics and theories investors look at when determining company valuation and what entrepreneurs need to know when having these conversations with investors. Finally, we’ll dig into deal structure by exploring equity and convertible debt.
